Kidsfirst’s Find-A-Kindy section is the third most popular on our website, after the Home and Fees pages, with the Christchurch page alone receiving almost 50,000 page views in the past year.
These pages are an important part of the Kidsfirst ‘customer journey’ – one of the many points along the way that add up to an enrolment – or not. Some of our Google and Facebook ads direct people straight to these pages, and prospective whānau will go to them as one of the many points of reference they will visit along the way.
That’s why it is so important that they tell a great story about your kindergarten in both words and pictures. Your kindergarten page is a bit like a shop-front – it gives customers a glimpse of what is inside, and hopefully entices them to want to take the next step, and walk through the door.
While every kindergarten page has the same elements, not all pages are equal. Some are missing photos, have outdated ones, or don’t reflect the kindergarten the way it is today.
It’s never too late to give your individual kindergarten page a new lease on life, and it’s easy to get the ball rolling – just get in touch! (story submission form?)
Up to date photos of the indoor and outdoor environment, busy and happy tamariki engaging with kaiako, and warm, welcoming photos of staff make all the difference.
