Haere mai Jasmin!

Wednesday was an exciting day at the Kidsfirst Head office, with the official Mihi Whakatau, welcoming Jasmin Ngawai into our Kidsfirst whānau. Jasmin is joining as our new Pouhere Ako, literally tying together all aspects of teaching and learning in te ao Māori at Kidsfirst kindergartens.

The Kidsfirst team, community representatives, Jasmin's whanau and members of her previous workplace TeWaka Huruhurumanu ki Ōtautahi were all part of this special day. Joseph Hullen and Lynne-Harata Te Aika from Ngāi Tūāhuriri and Kidsfirst Chief Executive Sheryll Wilson officiated at the welcome.

Jasmin was joined by members of her whānau, along with representatives from her previous employer to mark this new start for Jasmine and for Kidsfirst.
