The peak New Year marketing period is underway, and now is the time to make the most of the heightened profile.
This year, we have a fresh new line of brand messaging, focused on Te Ao Kindy, and all of the ways kindergarten is different – keep an eye out here for its launch.

Kaiako continue to be the mainstay of our brand advertising, and we are so grateful to those teachers who put themselves out there to promote the kindergarten cause. These posts are always popular with whānau and friends, and generate a lot of buzz.


Google and Facebook ads encouraging applications, and promoting the Get More offer available at some kindergartens are also back, joined by a new stable of brand-level advertising promoting the ways kindergarten is special.
Social media continues to be an important driver of applications. It also offers prospective whānau a glimpse into day-to-day kindy life. Please, keep sending us your stories and photos – they all add up to tell the story of Te Ao Kindy in a colourful and energetic way. Our Facebook fanbase continues to grow, with a 45% increase in the numbers in December and January.
Our Te Ao Kindy site, where we send those who click on our ads, recorded a 126% increase in new users between the end of December and the end of January. This site offers us greater flexibility to create promotional pages, and provide smoother user experience, with new-style, easier to use forms, and marketing-focused content to help whānau make that all-important enrolment or waitlist decision.
