It's been great to see everybody working so hard to settle tamariki and whānau in, and also a steady flow of waitlists and enrolments as our advertising kicks back in and everybody returns to some kind of 'normal'.

For many of our whānau, these are uncertain times - especially those who have lost, or are under threat of losing, their jobs. As a result of very large shifts in the labour market, many people will be making different decisions about ECE to meet their changed circumstances. 

There are opportunities in this, as well as challenges - but we have been through very difficult times before, and I have complete faith that we can do it again. It is pleasing to see our website enrolment numbers already starting to climb again as the effects of our advertising and the efforts of kindergartens start to pay off. 

Thank you for all the additional #betterbecause Values Awards submissions - it will be an exciting AGM, whatever the format.
