The summer enrolment period is upon us, and now’s the time to start thinking about making the most of it in the New Year.
We have exciting new creative material that builds on familiar themes – we have two umbrella themes that work together to differentiate Kidsfirst and kindergarten from the rest. #BetterBecause talks about the benefits in a more rational way, while Te Ao Kindy takes a more emotional approach. Both are very important to whānau when making decisions.
A new layer of Te Ao Kindy messaging expands on the benefits of the Kidsfirst experience for tamariki, whānau, and communities. New website pages are also being added to key Kidsfirst channels.
In previous years, the immediate post-Christmas period is a very busy time on our web channels, with prospective parents actively exploring their options at this time. For this reason, we do boost the Kidsfirst presence over this period.
We have a number of levels of advertising and messaging running across our digital and offline channels.
Get More, promoting our Get More kindergartens

General Kidsfirst sales advertising focused on generating waitlist and enrolment applications

Brand-level advertising that highlights the Kidsfirst benefits, and the benefits of joining the network, this year with a Te Ao Kindy overlay.

Also, this year we will be promoting sales from the Merchandising site through our digital channels, and Educa, both pre-Christmas and in the lead-up to the new term.

Our newest kindergarten, East Rolleston, will get a profile boost over this period. Like so many ads that feature teachers, the content for this campaign has proven to be some of our most popular ever.
With the Kidsfirst profile so high, it’s the best time of year to ride the wave – so get planning, and make the most of it as early as possible in January.
