A winning night

Congratulations to all our BetterBecause Values Awards winners. 

Teams who entered had to describe an amazing and innovative activity or project undertaken in 2019 that showed their ability to go the extra mile, to achieve success for their tamariki, whānau and community – and with our values at the heart of their mahi.  Individual Champions were nominated by their teams. And, for the very first time, we had a new category – The Kidsfirst Community Champion – those wonderful whānau who so willingly support our kindergartens and uphold our values. It was lovely to see their enthusiasm and surprise at their win, and all the excitement and pride of the kindergarten whānau spilling over to Facebook.
